Visit the SATAC website and search for "Tabor, Bachelor of Music" or enter course code 5A041B. - Book an Audition
Auditions are available at various times throughout the year. If you need to arrange a specific time, please select 'Other' and our staff will contact you to arrange.

Application Process:
All applicants must complete this process upon entry into the Tabor Bachelor of Music:
- Audition: Prepare two contrasting pieces on your primary instrument to perform. If you are auditioning as a digital production or composition major please bring a portfolio of your work. Sibelius files, DAWs files and recordings are acceptable.
- Interview: The audition process includes an informal interview where we discuss the Bachelor of Music program and learn more about you. This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the program.
- Theory Assessment: All applicants must pass the music theory test for acceptance into the Bachelor of Music. This test is typically completed on the same day as your audition. A bridging course is available to assist in preparing you for this test.
Tips for Success:
Here are some additional tips to enhance your audition experience:

- Allow approximately 1.5 hours for the audition process, including warm-up time.
- Arrive punctually, at least ten minutes early to have time for a warm-up.
- Provide sheet music for your pieces and have a backup song ready.
- Create a resume highlighting your musical experience or certificates.
- Be prepared to explain why you've chosen Tabor for your music education.
- Take time to research the degree program before your audition.
- Complete practice theory tests available on the Tabor website to prepare effectively.
